About the Magazine:

Established in the spring of 2010, the Oxonian Globalist is the most recent addition to Global21′s network. The first issue is scheduled to publish in November of 2010 and is themed “A World Without Borders?” in light of a rapidly globalizing world. Plans for the second issue are already being developed and it is set to be released in February of 2011.

About the Editor-in-Chief: Mark Longhurst

Mark is from Sydney, Australia and is currently studying for an MPhil in Economics. He began his university career at the University of Sydney, before transferring to Yale University where he majored in economics.

About the Founder: Jemima Peppel-Srebrny

Jemima graduated last year as an undergraduate student of Philosophy & Economics at Oxford University. She was the founding member of the Oxonian Globalist and its first Editor-in-Chief.

About other members of the Board:

Sahiba Gill – Managing Editor (Print)

Sahiba is a Visiting Student from Swarthmore College, reading PPE at St Anne’s, who began editing for The Oxonian Globalist last term. Back home she is an honours political science major philosophy minor.

Michael Brodsky – Managing Editor (Web)

Michael is a second-year Visiting Student from Washington University in St Louis, reading Modern History at Keble. He served for two years as Managing Editor of the Washington University Political Review. In his spare time, Michael enjoys dancesport and plays tennis for the Oxford University Lawn Tennis Team.

Anette Chau – Production Editor

Annette is a first-year PPEist at LMH, and designs the layout for the print edition of the magazine. Although born in Australia, she grew up and studied in Hong Kong (which in her opinion has the best food and worst air pollution in the world).

Tanya Sen – Publisher

Tanya is studying Engineering, Economics & Management at Trinity. She grew up in India and China, although she now lives in Dubai. Besides working for The Oxonian Globalist, Tanya plays for the squash team and sings with a jazz band.
