About the Magazine:
The Cape Town Globalist was one of Global21′s first chapters to be established and has been printing at the University of Cape Town for almost five years now. The magazine goes to print about twice a year and distributes on average 2,000 copies free of charge at the University of Cape Town. The magazine and its staff are committed to the development of its writing and photography through a thorough editorial process. The Cape Town Globalist also organizes workshops and talks available to the student body on a regular basis in order to help expose more people to issues both in journalism and international affairs.
In this upcoming year, the Cape Town Globalist is striving to partner closely with other organizations on campus to organize more events, expand the online coverage as well as the hard copy distribution, and achieve financial stability.
