The Perspectivist is Global21’s blog and was established in 2009 as a venue for university students to informally share perspectives and write about important international issues taking place in their home region, regardless of whether their university is part of the network.

As a non-profit organization, Global21′s projects are entirely supported by your donations. Starting in 2007, Global21 was granted 501(c)3 status by the Internal Revenue Service which allows for all contributions to be tax-deductible.

Global21 will host its second North American Regional Conference at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut on November 4th – 6th, 2011. Student writers from the Yale Globalist, the Toronto Globalist, and TEC Globalist (Monterrey, Mexico) will participate in workshops and hear from professionals in the fields of journalism and international affairs.
